When we started our individual careers in the tech industry, we were befuddled by all the jargon and did not understand much of what was going on. As a matter of fact, our willingness to venture into the latest, newest technology and the ability (and ignorance) to brush off setbacks and failures were probably what got us through. While we would not trade those years for any other experience, we also know this is a common experience for tech workers. What’s more is that we were and continue to be beneficiaries of our colleagues, mentors, and bosses with the patience and guidance to help us along the way.
We started this site to repay our debt to the community. Our mission is to alleviate some of the pain points we’ve experienced without completely removing the lessons we learned along the way. Our industry can sometimes be seen as unwelcoming with a hint of elitism. We hope to change that perception and provide resources for those who are interested in the tech industry. Whether you are a student, recent graduate, or someone looking to change your career track, you will be able to find useful content and perhaps give back to the community!
Hope you enjoy our content, and don’t be shy to say hello at hello@stackcache.io
